You helped a friend of mine with your song “with you” so I knew this would be a perfect gift for the girl I’m trying to win over. Her name is ….. and she has blonde hair, brown eyes and the most beautiful smile. I met her five years ago and she was my direct supervisor while we both worked at buckle. There was an immediate attraction from me and we grew closer. A few months later I got into the oilfield and packed my bags for a different state. We feel out of touch and things never moved forward. Five years later and things are going great now. We still live two hours apart but I see her every weekend or every chance we can. She had 4 animals she’s super passionate about her cha-weenie dog Penelope, and three cats (willow, Bubba, and mini cat). I always joke with her about the animals liking “step dad” more than they like her. An on going joke is anytime she says “I hate you” I always reply with “you want to date me?” Which is always followed by a laugh, a huge smile, an eye roll, and no. I’m hoping this gift is what will finally land me the “yes” answer the next time she says “I hate you”.
