Person’s Story

Here it goes - I am just putting down some of our memories and our situation. In our relationship I am the tough one he is the emotional and romantic so will try my best to provide as much details as possible.
We met at a wedding in Quincy on October 29, 2017.
He was at the end of his 10 days bike tour and there only for one night, we saw each other at the fire pit first drink scotch. We danced/talked rest of the night away. We saw each other next day and we had no idea what we were getting into. I tend to use the work awesome a lot, so if that can be added somewhere…
He left to England - Thats where he lives with his young son and me here with my daughter.
We met again in Dublin in November 2017 and that’s when we realized that this is not a short term relationship, he told me he fell in love with me when he saw me walking down in the pub in Dublin wihile carrying two Guinness’s. It took me little longer - It was in Solvang where we were glamping safari tent.

He continued to fly to Cali every 6 weeks and I went once or twice. We also met half way few times (Boston) He is the first man I introduced to my daughter her dad so she and I both knew it was big deal.

Local place - Laguna Beach and staying at pacific edge hotel - Best memories of us just sitting on the beach chair sipping wine.
During one of his visit he went running by the coast and fell off the cliff and scrapped himself badly (funny now but was very scary)
Favorite place when I visit him in Mansfield, England - Pubs called Roso and Christmas Day drinking beer at Sir Cockle (I would be impress if you could get this in the song :)
When he is here with me, every day without fail he makes me tea and toast in the morning. I don’t like the way he makes my tea but don’t have heart to say it.
It is bit surreal meeting someone at this age and feeling so happy and in love knowing that I want to spend rest of my life with this man.
Our biggest issue is distance right now, hence we talk on the phone and whatsApp messages every day.
Since COVID it took a heavy toll on our relationship as he could travel so we had a gap from Feb 15 - Oct 16 but we continued to talk everyday and he kept on reassuring me and calming me down.
Finally - We were able to take some risks and meet in Bermuda in October - after taking COVID test for about 5 times. But I cannot describe how wonderful and thoughtful he made that trip for us.
